In preparation for recording the complete consort music of Martin Peerson and John Milton senior, two of the most interesting and accomplished composers of the group associated with St Paul's Cathedral in the early decades of the 17th century, Fretwork (with Michael Chance) will give a concert in the Clothworkers' Hall, in Leeds University, on Saturday 16 January 2010. To include Professor Richard Rastall's reconstruction of Milton's 6-part fantasy and Peerson's incomplete fantasia Attendite.
