Who are we?
NEEMF is an association of people who enjoy early music (medieval, renaissance, baroque and early classical). If you like it too, we would be delighted if you became a member, especially if you live in our area - Yorkshire, Humberside, Durham and Northumberland. There are several of these Early Music Forums in Britain (follow 'Related sites' to 'Other Early Music forums'); you can join more than one if you like. What do we do?
Events and membership-benefits include:
- regular (approximately monthly) one-day workshops of interest to singers and instrumentalists.
- an annual residential weekend workshop held in early autumn.
- a quarterly newsletter covering early music events in NEEMF and elsewhere.
- a register of members and their early music interests, available to members, to help meet others of like mind.
- a library of music (held by the National Early Music Centre)
