The NEEMF library
This way to the NEEMF library of early music, kindly housed and administered by the National Centre for Early Music, York. Members of NEEMF and other Early Music Forums may borrow music free of charge, although regrettably at present we cannot arrange for loans outside the UK. Music can be reserved online and either collected in person, or else sent by post at the usual postage rates.

A note on using the library search faciity
The NEEMF library has an online catalogue which can be searched from your browser. There is a 'Quick Search' facility on the home page of the library, which has rather limited options, and a more powerful facility that can be reached by clicking on 'Catalogue Search'. If you want a list of all the titles, you have to do it bit by bit, first searching for 'lute', then for 'recorder', and so on.
